Paint is a serious line item on any job. Matt buys it on a trade account and hands the saving straight to the customer instead of keeping the margin, so you are paying for skilled work and good materials rather than for an office.
Prep Is Where the Job Is Won
Almost every painting complaint traces back to one shortcut. Latex rolled over old oil based trim, which peels off in strips within a year. Exterior coating over chalky siding that was never washed. A patch filled but never floated wide, showing as a ridge under fresh paint. Caulk skipped at the one joint where water actually gets in.
None of that shows on handover day. All of it shows up eighteen months later. Matt washes, scrapes, fills, caulks and sands before a drop of finish paint comes out, and it is in the price rather than added to it.
What Matt Takes On
Interior painting, exterior painting, kitchen cabinets and built-ins, trim, doors and ceilings, drywall repair, and the small handyman jobs that come up once the furniture is already moved. Homes, rental properties and commercial spaces.
He does not take on licensed electrical, plumbing, gas or HVAC work. If your job needs one of those, he will tell you straight rather than have a go at it.
